Making extensive use of UNIX Cron style syntax for event scheduling, WinCron .NET also provides full C#/VB .NET scripting support for PROGRAM LAUNCH, FTP, EMAIL (both SMTP and POP3), FILE SYSTEM, STRING, and TEXT FILE processing. The full featured integrated C#/VB .NET programming takes task automation to a whole new level. WinCron .NET runs as a native Windows System Service, and supports both local remote administration through an easy to use telnet interface. WinCron .NET has built-in SMTP and POP3 email engines. This built-in support makes not only automated sending of email easy, but also automatic processing of incoming POP3 email as well. Filtering, forwarding, rerouting and arbitrary processing of incoming POP3 email is fully supported. Samples included. Security: WinCron .NET takes advantage native Windows login for WinCron .NET administration. This feature makes WinCron .NET administration available to only those individuals that have a valid login account and know the user name and password.
